hooray for summer!
Hello there! It's honestly hard to believe it's JULY already. (we're half way through 2017!) This summer is just flying by! We have been laying low the past week with our vacation/staycation & it's been a good time of refresh before we kick it into high gear for summer weddings. We are super excited for the weddings this month!
And with summer upon us, it means LOCAL blooms!  We are all about supporting local growers at r&r & we've added some new faces to that list this year!
Can't wait to see what July has in store. Hope your summer is off to a great start!
We're laying low in July with events due to our jam packed
wedding season & soaking in summertime with our families.
We only have a mama & me class on the books,
but come August we're back in full swing!

My July tidbits. My July tidbits. My July tidbits. This went over and over in my head these past few days. You know why? Because I am taking time to be on vacation, to be disconnected. To not be on my phone every few minutes. I have put it down, for hours at a time these past 5 days and oh, how delightful. But being on vacation is never really being on vacation anymore, is it? Gone are the days of leaving work behind. Gone are the days of getting lost for a week at the beach, or in the mountains, or at the lake house. I would suppose the times we are in with all of the perks of instant connection to the rest of the world, have also made us a manic society. A society where if we do not get a timely response to a text or an email, we are instantly edgy. Why do we allow that to be? Can we not give grace anymore to the person at the other end of our message, that maybe they needed to disconnect for a bit? I know I am just as guilty as the next guy or gal at this. I am irritated by a 2 day lag time, or heaven forbid someone takes up to a week, a whole week to respond to an email!?! But when I sit here, staring at the gorgeous Atlantic sprawled out in front of me, I am hoping that I will remember this moment. I am hoping that maybe it will occur to me that disconnecting for a few hours or for a whole entire week, is one of the best things ever. Sitting here staring at the ocean, I just want to be at peace with just staring at the ocean, or hiking a trail or lying under tree in my back yard sipping an iced tea. I want NO guilt for that. And the guilt my friends is only brought on by my own drive to keep up the pace. My question is, with where we have arrived in our culture, how do we rewind our minds and our souls to simple, to reset ourselves? For me~ I am going to stare. I am going to stare for 2 more days at the sunrise and sunsets. At the vast ocean and all of it’s magnificence. I am going to remember that this is my reset time. Having drive and working hard will get us very far in our paths, to that there is no argument. Resetting and refueling my soul with simply staring out to sea, is guaranteed to take me to my next level of “get it done motivation” when I come home. I am blessed beyond blessed for this business, this opportunity, this life. I have dreams coming true before me in so many ways. But for this next moment, when I close my laptop, I am going to relax me. And be okay with that. I hope you do the same. Love, Meg

Another month down & here we are celebrating THREE whole months with our little ham! I am in awe of him everyday & that God provided just what we needed. what a blessing he is. >> this has been a fun month to say the least; it's easy to see he's getting bigger. he loves his nuny, sleeping (through the night now- hallelujah!), his dog, listening to music, and long walks through town. We're experiencing lots of firsts; like his first swim. (he wasn't a fan; but summer is just beginning- so there's still hop). I love watching him recognize familiar voices. :) looking forward to the month ahead to see what happens next!
Last month was filled with lots of lovelies:
another month of 10 weddings & some really fun design nights, too!

see some of the june goodness below:
We are so looking forward to the weddings we have coming up this month!
Can't wait to share more with you!
